Valley View Community Food Bank is in “urgent” need for support to replace multiple failing air conditioners at its El Mirage location.
Founder Jesse Ramirez said the total replacement cost is $32,500, a significant expense the organization cannot cover alone.
“They’re over 20 years old and they need to be replaced,” he said. “It’s a tough summer because of the heat. We need to make sure it’s safe for our volunteer, clients and the food. As summer temperatures soar, there is an urgent need to replace multiple air conditioning units at El Mirage.”
