The Sun City Fire District Board of Directors voted to formally adopt non-transport medical fees in February.
Now it will discuss the public relations campaign to explain the fee at its monthly meeting at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 in the fire district administrative offices, 18602 N. 99th Ave., Sun City.
The fee will be $315.80 for a call that sends an ambulance crew to a house in its coverage area, even if the call does not result in transport to a hospital or other medical facility or medical treatment on site. It takes effect July 1.
