Sun City Fire District expects decision by June on joint operations

The Sun City Fire District plans to make a decision whether to enter into a joint powers authority agreement with Arizona Fire & Medical Authority by June of next year, according to a discussion at the Oct. 24 board of directors meeting.

The district hired Emergency Services Consulting International — a consulting firm of the International Association of Fire Chiefs — to do a feasibility analysis.
