Sun City Concert Band announces December performance

The Sun City Concert Band presents “A Holiday Celebration” 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Sundial Center auditorium, 14801 N. 103rd Ave.
This concert will feature several holiday favorites including “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Themes from the Nutcracker Suite,” “Symphonic Prelude on Adeste Fidelis” and “Festive Sounds of Hanukah.”
Dan Reed will once again bring his trumpet flourishes to “Christmas Concerto” with full band accompaniment. Jane Higgs will sing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Kenneth Jaeger will direct the Concert Band along with Charles Musgrave, Associate Conductor. Admission is free and open to all. Donations will be accepted at the conclusion of the concert to defray cost of new music and instruments.
