Sun City committee to meet with architect

No meetings for 2 weeks

Recreation Centers of Sun City’s Strategic Alternatives Committee will consult with an architect to clarify what can be constructed within a limited budget at Mountain View Center, 9749 N. 107th Ave.

Marlene Imirzian was retained by the committee to conduct site visits to both Mountain View and Lakeview Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd. She will present information about what can and cannot be done at each site. She will conduct her studies and formulate her recommendations for two weeks before meeting with the committee to discuss her findings. She will lead the committee’s discussions through September prior to the panel making its recommendations tot he RCSC board. The committee will also work with a professional cost estimator to help determine what RCSC can afford.

The SAC will not meet Aug. 11 and 18 while Imirzian conducts her research. The committee’s next meeting will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 in the Sonoran Room at Grand Center, 10415 W. Grand Ave.
