While property owners dealt with their troubles during monsoon storms in July, the weather played a role in presenting 4 Paws Cat Rescue with some challenges.
Volunteers at the cat rescue organization found a large number of cats and kittens either brought in or dropped off at the two locations, 11129 W. Michigan Ave., Youngtown, and 10807 N. 96th Ave., Peoria. The influx put a strain on the agency’s finances, according to Deb Heise, 4 Paws executive director.
“We need your donations to enable us to continue our work and help these unfortunate cats/kittens have the best chance of survival and hopes of future adoptions,” she stated in an email.
