Sun Cities residents concerned about big cats

In May Sun City residents Jow Delgardo and Bob Hayden were concerned when a litter of coyotes were using yards in their neighborhood as a nursery.

This month Sun City resident Victor Vitez had his own concerns about another member of the desert eco-system. He said three times within a week a bobcat was roaming through his backyard.

“Twice it was on top of a 6-foot high concrete block wall and once on ground level,” he stated in an email. “This occurred east of Palmeras and West Spanish Moss Lane.”
