Study: High crash risk at 2 Mesa intersections

Two intersections owned and maintained by the city of Mesa — Dobson Road at University Drive and Eighth Avenue at Alma School Road — have made a top 100 list for crash risk in the Valley.

There were 75 crashes reported at Dobson Road and University Drive and 49 at Eighth Avenue and Alma School Road.

They were ranked Nos. 86 and 100 respectively in Maricopa Association of Governments’ list using 2018-22 crash data. MAG released the report Nov. 21.
