Loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration are tougher to come by in Arizona than in the rest of the country, according to a small business lender survey.
The lender, Clarify Capital, found Arizona ranked as the hardest state to get a new small business loan from the SBA.
One loan in Arizona was approved for every 744.3 applications submitted, the study said. Compare that with the easiest state to get a new SBA loan, South Dakota, where one loan was approved for every 4.6 applications submitted, according to the study.
