The director’s list recognizes students enrolled in classes through the UA Early College program. UA Early College allows high school students to get a head start on their college courses.
High school sophomores, juniors and seniors enrolled in UA Early College can choose from more than 80 different online and on-campus courses and earn up to 30 hours of college credit.
The 2022 summer list included Ava Gordon of Scottsdale, who attends Cactus Shadows High School.
Located in the heart of Boston, Simmons University also announced local students who were recognized for academic achievements.
As explained in a press release, Simmons is a private university offering more than 50 majors and programs for undergraduate women and graduate programs open to all on campus, in blended formats or entirely online.
The university recently announced its 2022 spring semester’s dean’s list. To qualify for dean’s list status, undergraduate students must obtain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, based on 12 or more credit hours of work in classes using the letter grade system.
From Scottsdale, Abigail McDonald and Skyler Goodman were among the students named on the list.
