Not a lot is changing with the Valley’s housing market now with low supply, low demand and mortgage rates that haven’t been this high in more than 20 years.
High mortgage rates along with high prices that shot up during the pandemic make it tough on those without a down payment or good credit history to get in the door of owning their own home.
“There’s not a lot changing,” said Tina Tamboer, a housing analyst with the Cromford Report in Phoenix. “In a way, it’s stable — just not the stable we want.”
