Strasser family builds Sneakybird from spring break find

When the Strasser family walked into a small chicken restaurant in Scottsdale during a college spring break trip, they were not looking to start a new business. They were looking for lunch.

“We were never really in the restaurant industry prior to this,” Jaeden Strasser said.

That unplanned stop at Sneakybird during a trip from Wisconsin to Arizona set the Strassers on a new path — one that has led them to open four Sneakybird franchises in Gilbert, Surprise, Queen Creek and Arcadia in just over a year, making them the brand’s first and only franchisees.
