'Story Bridges' to premiere in Peoria

Former council member spotlights long-time residents

Former Peoria City Councilmember Vicki Hunt is bringing her love for the city and its residents to the forefront.

During the past year she has been working on an oral history project featuring the stories of longtime Peoria residents. The project “Story Bridges: Oral Histories of Peoria” will be presented 7-9 p.m., Sept. 13, at Historic Peoria Women's Club, 10382 N. Peoria Ave.

The event is free to the public.
