Posted

Work on Storelocal Surprise at 12465 N. Autoshow Ave. has begun with the official groundbreaking Nov. 7.

Former Congressman Barry Goldwater Jr. was among the dignitaries at the groundbreaking ceremonies for the state-of-the-art self-storage facility, which will offer climate controlled units, large RV bays and drive-up storage units.

Mayor Skip Hall and City Manager Bob Wingenroth were among the attendees representing Surprise.

Other notable people at the event were Ken Pinckard, founder at Goldwater Pinckard, TV personality Tarek El Moussa, who is CEO and founder at TEM Capital, and AJ Osborne, CEO at Cedar Creek Capital.

The 170,000-square-foot facility will offer nearly 1,000 units total.
