State postpones Goodyear land auction for second time

Samsung reportedly considering Duncan Family Farms site for semiconductor plant

The Arizona State Land Department auction of 1,099 acres in Goodyear scheduled for 9 a.m. today, May 19, has been postponed until June.

The auction has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, June 10, an ASLD spokesperson said via email. The department’s website, land.az.gov, should be updated with the new auction information within 48 hours.

Starting bid for the land will be $127.7 million, with proceeds going to the state’s school and penitentiary funds.
