The State Transportation Board has approved the 2023-2027 Five-Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program, including adding lanes along Interstate 17 between Anthem Way and Sunset Point
The Anthem Way/Sunset Point project, one of several approved by the board July 17, comes in at $328 million and will begin this year.
"Construction on the highly anticipated I-17 Improvement Project: Anthem Way to Sunset Point will begin later this year and is expected to take approximately three years to complete," ADOT officials stated in a release earlier this year.
