‘Stand your ground’ laws come under scrutiny in Arizona, other states

Recent shootings of two people who arrived at a wrong address and were shot has sparked conversation nationwide and in Arizona as to what is permitted under the “stand your ground” statue.

According to Arizona law, stand your ground allows people to fight and sometimes kill in order to protect themselves or others. But the interpretation of the law will depend on the individual circumstances of the cases.
