Stadium Trail nearing construction in Peoria

Will fill ‘critical gap’ in regional trail system

A multiuse trail connecting Peoria’s entertainment and sports district to other parts of the city and beyond is nearing construction.

Peoria City Council approved an intergovernmental agreement amendment with the state of Arizona for the local cost share, design, construction, and construction management of Stadium Trail phase 1.

The multiuse trail will be along the north side of Skunk Creek from 83rd to 73rd avenues.
