Salt River Project has announced Brian Koch as the Tempe-based utility’s new associate general manager and chief financial officer, effective Feb.19.

In addition, Vanessa Kisicki has begun in her new role as associate general manager and chief customer executive.

SRP announced the  promotions in a release this week.

Koch joined SRP in 2001 and currently serves as corporate treasurer and senior director of financial services.

He succeeds Aidan McSheffrey, who will retire in May 2024 after more than 31 years with SRP.

“Aidan’s leadership of SRP’s financial services team is one of the reasons that SRP maintains the highest credit rating in the nation among public power companies,” Jim Pratt, SRP general manager and chief executive officer, said.

“Brian will bring to his new role tremendous expertise and knowledge of our industry that will be critical as SRP looks to meet a 25% increase in energy demand by 2030 while ensuring affordable prices for our customers.”

Kisicki has been with SRP for nearly 22 years, most recently serving as director of distribution strategy where she was responsible for planning and modernizing the electric distribution grid, the release stated.

“Vanessa is uniquely qualified to lead the customer service team as we work to elevate our products and services while continuing to meet the changing needs of our customers,” Pratt said.
