Sprouts Farmers Market to open new Valley store

The Town of Fountain Hills announced Sprouts Farmers Market, a popular specialty grocery store known for fresh, natural and organic products, plans to open a new location in the heart of Fountain Hills.

The applicant has officially submitted a site plan for a proposed 23,024- square-foot store located in the Four Peaks Plaza Shopping Center at Shea and Saguaro boulevards. This marks a significant step forward in the town’s ongoing efforts to attract high-quality retail and grocery options for residents.

“The Fountain Hills residents have been asking for a specialty grocery store since I started with the town over three years ago,” said Amanda Jacobs, economic development director for Fountain Hills. “Attracting Sprouts Farmers Market would not have been possible without the vision of the property owner, Sandor, and the Fountain Hills Town Council approving zoning changes in January 2024.”

This development reflects the town’s commitment to enhancing the local shopping experience, supporting economic growth and providing residents with greater access to healthy and sustainable food choices, according to Jacobs.

Sprouts Farmers Market is recognized nationally for offering affordable natural and organic foods, including fresh produce, bulk foods, vitamins and supplements, packaged groceries, meat and seafood, deli items, dairy products, bakery goods and more.

Pending final approvals, construction is anticipated to begin by the end of this year or early 2026.

True to a farm-stand heritage, Sprouts offers a grocery experience featuring an open layout with fresh produce at the heart of the store. Sprouts inspires wellness naturally with a carefully curated assortment of better-for-you products paired with purpose-driven people.

The healthy grocer continues to bring the latest in wholesome, innovative products made with lifestyle-friendly ingredients such as organic, plant-based and gluten-free.

Headquartered in Phoenix, and one of the largest and fastest growing specialty retailers of fresh, natural and organic food in the United States, Sprouts employs approximately 35,000 team members and operates more than 440 stores in 24 states nationwide.
