Spring training better late than never in Surprise

Fans happy to have baseball games back

It’s sometimes easy for a baseball fan to take for granted the convenience of living in a spring training city.

But for the Long family of Kansas City, making the trip to see their favorite team has been quite an ordeal of patience.

In fact, the family worried their first trip to see the Royals at Surprise Stadium wasn’t meant to be.
