Scottsdale school board meetings get a new start time

Shifting back one hour designed to allow for more involvement

Although there were previous discussions amongst the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board members to consider changing the start time for regular meetings, there was no formal decision made.

As a few virtual onlookers waited more than an hour for the March 16 meeting to start at its regularly scheduled 5 p.m., the meeting did not begin until after 6 p.m., following a 4 p.m. executive session to review the superintendent’s performance.

Notification was later shown for viewers to know the meeting was set to start at 6 p.m. that night.
