Spring brings water-saving landscaping classes to Phoenix libraries
Posted
INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
Water-efficiency experts will demonstrate how homeowners can improve their landscaping skills with some new techniques during a series of classes beginning in April.
The sessions will take place in April and May thanks to a partnership with Phoenix Water Services, Watershed Management Group and SRP, according to a city release.
“With most residential water use occurring outside, it's crucial to incorporate modern landscape designs and learn about alternative water collection and reuse to reduce water usage,” officials said in a release.
Classes are free and in-person and will take place on select Saturdays at Mesquite, Burton Barr and Saguaro libraries.
