Spots still open at art camps in Surprise

Ground Floor preps two weeks in July

Ground Floor Artists, 13343 W. Foxfire Drive Suite 3, has a few openings remaining at its summer camp classes in July and registrations should be made as soon as possible.

Camps are packed with crafty, creative and high quality art projects. Campers will be able to customize and choose their project designs and colors.

Morning sessions are from 10 a.m. until noon, while afternoon sessions last from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Classes still available include:

• July 11 (afternoon) - Surfboard Wooden Painting
• July 12 (morning) - Desk Pets
• July 12 (afternoon) - Mixed Media Animal Painting
• July 13 (morning) - Windchime
• July 13 (afternoon) - Wooden Beach Sea Horse
• July 14 (morning) - Bedroom Door Sign
• July 14 (afternoon) - Rope and Lace Rainbow

July 18-21 is the final week of camp. Sessions are:

• July 18 (morning) - Flower pot with flowers
• July 18 (afternoon) - Weaving Flowers
• July 19 (morning) - Tape Art Painting
• July 20 (morning) - Tree House Play Set
• July 20 (afternoon) - Cute as a Bug Painting
• July 21 (morning) - Paint a Canvas Backpack and Tassel Keychain
• July 21 (afternoon) - Pencil Jar and Pipecleaner Toppers

Cost is $20 per session. Campers are invited to stay for both morning and afternoon camps, pack a lunch and spend the day.

A second project will be done if time allows.
