She relives her unique childhood of playing at the family’s Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father’s hidden desires.

“Fun Home” is an original musical about seeing parents through grown-up eyes. This musical garnered numerous awards and accolades, including the 2015 Tony for Best New Musical.
