Sponsors of "For Our City Day" help with cleaning up and beautifying the city of Chandler in a concerted, single-day approach.
The 2023 day was held in late October. Sponsors of the event were recognized by the Chandler City Council at its Jan. 22 study session. Waste Management was thanked for both its in-kind contribution of more than $19,000 this year and its nearly decade-long commitment to Chandler’s For Our City Day.
Waste Management’s District Manager III Rick Davis was there to receive a certificate and a commemorative shovel from Chandler Council member Jane Poston, Mayor Kevin Hartke and Tawna Mower of Chandler’s Neighborhood Resources Department.
