Peoria school board calls meeting to potentially select new president

The Peoria Unified School District governing board has called a special meeting May 5 to elect from its board a new president.

Heather Rooks is the current president, but the governing board has chosen to call a special meeting to potentially elect another board member as the president.

This agenda item allows the board the opportunity to receive public comment, discuss, and consider action voting for a new president.
