Speak Up: Mesa police arrest suspect in weekend homicide

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a killing that occurred Saturday in the 100 block of North Lesueur, Mesa police said Sunday.

“Mesa needs to do more about the crime. No one wants to go downtown. We need to stop building all these low cost apartments in the area. Apartments will only put more people closer to criminal elements. Mesa is going to run down the city between Stapley Rd. and Alma School.” — justthinking via story comment
