Speak Up: Fentanyl courier sentenced to 3.5 years in Arizona

Posted

A man will serve 3.5 years in an Arizona prison on multiple charges related to fentanyl trafficking. Tomas Gamez-Robles was sentenced in Pima County Superior Court on Dec. 30 after pleading guilty to charges of attempt to transport a narcotic drug for sale, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a drug felony and illegally conducting an enterprise.

  • “I don’t understand that because meth is 5 years flat time, and fentanyl is much more dangerous than meth, and meth didn’t get as dangerous until they started cutting it with fentanyl. Fentanyl should be at least 10 years flat to get people to weigh the consequences.” — Jeremy Garrison via story comment
