Southwest Valley could see water reduction measures by 2026 if changes aren’t made now

According to research conducted by ASU the southwest valley could see the states more drastic water reduction efforts

Arizona is best known for its “five Cs” — climate, copper, citrus, cattle and cotton. What Arizona is becoming know for is having its own reliable water source.

And a new study from Arizona State University is putting into question some the Valley’s fastest growing cities’ ability to secure their water future.

New data being tracked by ASU Kyl Center for Water Policy has examined how water droughts have effected the state and also what may be predicted ahead.
