Southwest Behavioral receives award for third consecutive year

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services — which is based in Phoenix and has an outpatient clinic at 1255 W. Baseline Road No. 138 in Mesa — received a Lovitt & Touché Risk Culture Inversion Award.
Honored for embracing the principles of inversion as delivered by the Lovitt & Touché Risk Control Team, this is the third year in a row that SB&H has received the recognition, according to a release.
The Inversion Awards follow L&T’s safety model and philosophy, which, taking the form of an inverted triangle, emphasizes the proactive steps organizations can take to lead toward zero safety incidents.
Award recipients, chosen by a panel of L&T officers, were selected based on the following criteria:
Utilized the L&T Risk Management resources;
Embraced the principles of Inversion as delivered by the L&T Risk Control Team;
Sustained an internal culture shift within the organization based on their interactions with L&T; and
Had a remarkable and favorable turnaround and are now operating as a healthier business.
“Our internal safety practices are a top priority here,” Saran Hansen, director of risk management of Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, said in the release. “I’m proud of our team for winning the award three years in a row and will continue our efforts to create a safe workplace for all.”
