Peoria Councilmember Denette Dunn will not run for reelection this year.

The Pine District councilor has represented the southern part of the city since April 2019.

She told Peoria Independent that serving her residents has been one of the greatest honors of her life, having the privilege of working alongside passionate colleagues, dedicated staff, and most importantly, the people in her community.
