The Sonoran Arts League will host The Great Art Book & Supply Sale in Cave Creek.
The inaugural fundraiser will feature a variety of new and gently used educational books and art supplies, including paints (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels), brushes, easels, palettes, watercolor paper, sketch pads, jewelry supplies and displays, tools and equipment for jewelry making, lamp work and more.
All proceeds will benefit the Sonoran Arts League, a nonprofit volunteer-based arts service organization dedicated to advancing art, artists, and art education since 1974.
The sale goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Jan. 12-14 at the League’s Learning Studio in Stagecoach Village, 100 E. Cave Creek Road, Suite 144.
“We’re kicking off our 50th year with this unique fundraiser that we hope inspires people of all ages to tap into their creativity,” glass artist and League board member Carole Perry shared in a press release. “Whether you’re an emerging artist, a professional artist or you’re curious about art, come see what type of books and supplies can help you on your creative journey.”
Perry said the League has grown to include nearly 600 members who reside throughout the Valley.
The Learning Studio offers a variety of classes for youth, adults, and veterans, and the organization also showcases members’ artwork at the Sonoran Arts League Gallery in Carefree.
The Great Art Book & Supply Sale coincides with the Sonoran Art & Wine Festival produced by Vermillion Promotions, also at Stagecoach Village that weekend.
