SONIC Drive-In donates to projects at Apache Junction, Queen Creek schools

Two projects at schools in Queen Creek and Apache Junction will receive funding from the Limeades for Learning initiative sponsored by SONIC.

In Apache Junction, Cactus Canyon Junior High School will use $680 for the Calm, Kind, Happy Healthy Kids project for grades 6-8.

A reading project for grades preK-2 at the Leading Edge Academy in Queen Creek is the beneficiary of $717 from SONIC.

Through the SONIC Limeades for Learning initiative, a portion of proceeds from every drink, slush and shake purchase goes to the SONIC Foundation, which is used to support local public education
