Someburros, a family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant group, will be hosting a hiring event Saturday to staff the group’s newest restaurant location on Signal Butte Road and Guadalupe Road in east Mesa and hire new team members for all locations.

Scheduled to open in September, Someburros Signal Butte will be the 11th Valley location for the group and will bring a total of 12 Someburros locations statewide, according to a release.

Beginning in 1986, the Vasquez family has been committed to delivering authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food for 35 years and expanded Someburros across Arizona with locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Chandler and Flagstaff.

The restaurant group will hire for all hourly-pay positions including managers, cashiers, bartenders, prep cooks, line cooks and dishwashers to support the newest Someburros location opening in the East Valley and all other locations.

Someburros offers company growth opportunities and employee benefits including 401K, health insurance, discounts, competitive pay, scholarship programs, leadership training and more, the release states.

Job applicants may apply in-person and should bring their resume and one form of identification to the job fair. Applicants will be interviewed in-person at the new Signal Butte location in Mesa and could be hired on the spot at this outside event.

It is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Someburros – Signal Butte, 2836 S. Signal Butte Road in Mesa.
