Some 3,000 West Valley APS customers finally have electricity

Total of 18,000 customers impacted

UPDATE: At 3 p.m. Friday, APS updated its estimated time for power to be restored to those West Valley customers still without power to 6 p.m. Friday.

The huge Valley storm from Thursday night into early Friday morning knocked out power to almost 600 APS customers in Glendale, but all power in the West Valley city was restored just after midnight.
