Solar paneled shade requested by First Southern Baptist Church

A similar looking shade structure that First Southern Baptist Church has requested to construct.

First Southern Baptist Church is requesting from Paradise Valley Town Council an intermediate special use permit amendment for the addition of a solar panel system on a new parking lot shade structure.

The application was submitted May 23 by Sonoran Solar on behalf of the church, located at 5230 N. Scottsdale Rd.

Town Council worked Sept. 14 on a statement of direction to forward to the Planning Commission for review.
