So long, Coyotes?

Team suspected of move to Utah, owners say they are committed to new arena in north Phoenix

The Arizona Coyotes declined to comment on media reports the NHL could soon announce the team is moving to Salt Lake City, Utah, but the team’s social media accounts have had more to say.

In multiple social media posts since Wednesday’s media reports, the Coyotes official account has re-emphasized the team’s commitment to stay in the Valley. However, none of the posts disputed media reports about the NHL considering moving the team to Utah.

“Committed to keeping Coyotes Hockey in the desert & building an arena in Phoenix,” reads a post pinned to the top of the Arizona Coyotes’ page on X, formerly Twitter.
