Advanced water metering becoming more common

Smart technology seems ubiquitous these days, from homes to cars and everything in between.

It also has become an important way to conserve water through the use of advanced metering.

Municipalities in the Phoenix area are taking advantage of this technology and saving millions of gallons of water, which is becoming increasingly beneficial for the region considering the region has been mired in a more than two decade drought and seen water supplies from the Colorado River come under scrutiny.
