Slowing growth in Buckeye

Residents are speaking up about concerns regarding future housing plans

During the past few months, some Buckeye residents have become more vocal regarding housing and other planned developments sites in the city of Buckeye, particularly as it comes to various multifamily projects.

With housing coming at a premium in the region, the West Valley city is latest to experience pushback from residents about where and when high-density development will go in.

Members of the public have spoken to the Buckeye City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission voicing concerns of site plans of residential communities like Avilla Marigold and Cielo Azul.
