Things are looking up — some could say to the sky — with successes at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.
Last year, Sky Harbor had its busiest year with more than 48.7 million travelers passing through the Phoenix airport’s gates along with 454,665 total operations — landings and takeoffs. According to the Federal Aviation Administration listed Phoenix Sky Harbor as the 14th busiest airport when it comes to passenger boardings in 2023.
That mark beat out the previous record set in 2019 when nearly 46.3 million passengers were served, according to a press release.
