Did you know: The Library offers more fun and adventure than books and movies?
The R.H. Johnson Library, 13801 W. Meeker Blvd., has a new program called Culture Pass. Check out a Culture Pass in the Information Center of the R. H. Johnson Library and get two free admission tickets to local zoos, botanical gardens and museums. Call or drop by the Information Center for more information about this new program.
Would you like to know more about the Sun City West area? In the Information Center we have books about the area and a new image display of photographs from when Sun City West was being developed.
If you have a new smart phone or tablet that you would like help learning to use, stop by the Data Resource Center or call 623-544-6644 to set up an appointment with one of our instructors to learn tips for using your device.
You can also receive training and help on using our digital resource. The library has audiobooks that you can listen to from your smart phone or tablet with the Libby app. Download a book and listen while you travel or do chores around the house. The library has ebooks and digital magazines you can read on your mobile devices or computer. Go to scw.overdrive.com to see the list of titles to choose from.
The library has a collection of games and puzzles to checkout or complete in the library. There is a new boomers trivia game that you can checkout to host a trivia night.
Have your ever wanted to try out Virtual Reality? See what it is like to explore a coral reef, tour Rome or Amsterdam, or fly in the cockpit of the Blue Angels. Reserve a time in the Data Resource Center.
