Singer-songwriter, band plan live music in Downtown Chandler

Singer-songwriter Lisa THEE' Oracle Hightower recently announce the launch of a live music event series, "Live Music Sundays," taking place the second Sunday evening of each month at West Alley BBQ, 111 W. Boston Street in Downtown Chandler.

Live Music Sundays will feature Hightower performing her brand of jazz, R&B, funk, inspirational, and original music, accompanied by a band of musicians. The band includes Michael Williams on bass, PrezzJay on drums, and Dane Tazz Cole on keys.

Each event will have a different theme and showcase different local businesses through vendor booths. There will also be a deejay playing tunes all night.

The launch event is Sunday, Aug. 13,  8 p.m., with Live Music Sundays taking place the second Sunday evening of each month thereafter.

Tickets are available for $10 in advance here or $15 at the door.
