Sen Kyrsten Sinema on Friday afternoon joined with mayors from across Maricopa County to discuss issues facing the central and West Valley, including the challenges for employment and water.
Sinema and the mayors started with employment in Arizona and how job creations could be increased. The senator pointed out efforts and work with partners like Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., which is building a factory in north Phoenix, and Intel Corp., which has major operations in Chandler, to provide higher paying jobs for the Valley.
“What were hearing from folks throughout the Valley as we all know Maricopa County is experiencing exponential growth, major corporations are coming to Arizona and building because they know this place is a place to live and work, But that means this a strain on our system.” Sinema said.
