Sun City residents will have a chance to get petition signatures on Recreation Centers of Sun City properties.
In its first regular business meeting since new members took office Jan. 1, the RCSC board approved by a near unanimous vote an amendment to the corporate bylaws that reversed a decision made by the board several years ago to restrict petition signature gathering. The board at that time had prohibited signature gathering on RCSC properties except for prospective board candidates seeking to get on the ballot.
The motion to allow signature gathering passed 8-0 with Dale Lehrer abstaining.
