Shutdowns should cost Congress, president their jobs

We, the citizens of the USA, employ and are paying the senators and representatives In Congress $174,500 each annually. We are paying the president of the USA $400,000 annually.

I propose a law that states the federal government can never be shut down. If the Congress and president cannot do their jobs within a year of past budget deadlines, then they all forfeit their jobs, paychecks, retirement funds and health benefits.

A special election would be held to bring in new representatives, senators and president.
