Should the Scottsdale City Council have been able to repeal Sustainability Plan?

Scottsdale resident claims the item should not have been on Jan. 14 agenda

The Scottsdale resident who filed an open meetings law violation against five members of the city council is taking his action a step further.

Steven Jackson filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office last week against Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky, Vice Mayor Barry Graham, and council members Jan Dubauskas, Kathy Littlefield and Adam Kwasman for a chain of emails between the five dated Jan. 13 discussing how they were going to proceed during the Jan. 14 council meeting to repeal the city’s sustainability plan.

A spokesman for the attorney general’s office confirmed Friday the complaint had been received but had not yet been assigned to an investigator.
