Glendale police investigated a shooting in which the suspect and victim engaged in a fight Sunday morning, according to an official.
On Feb. 26 at about 10:45 a.m., Glendale Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 6800 North 45th Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located a man who was not cooperative, but had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the neck.
An investigation revealed the shooting originated from an argument between two neighbors at an apartment complex. They started fighting before one of them shot the other in the neck.
A spokesperson said the alleged shooter, a Hispanic male, returned to the scene for medical treatment for injuries related to the fight. He also provided a statement and surrendered the weapon.
