MESA - Shirley Turner of Mesa, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2015 in Apache Junction. Shirley was born on September 9, 1932 in Preston, Iowa to Gustave and Mary Ruchotzke. Shirley is survived by her brother, Ambrose (Bernetta), Dewitt, Iowa; her five children, Sheila (Bob) Wargo, Apache Junction, Sharon (Russ) Reinke, Davenport, Neb., Michael (Jane) Thompson, Mesa, Mary (Jeff) Bell, Apache Junction, Randy Thompson, Clinton, Iowa; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph; sister, Mary Jane; daughter, Cheryl; and grandson Ernie. A graveside service for the family was held Thursday, October 15, 2015, 11 a.m., Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa. A Celebration of Life followed at the American Legion Post 27, 1018 S. Meridian, Apache Junction, at 1 p.m.
