Shirley Tripp

Shirley Tripp, 87Shirley Ann Tripp of Sun City died June 30, 2008 of sudden cardiac arrest.Ms. Tripp was born in Seattle, Wash. Shortly after graduating from Edmonds High School, she joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. In 1944 she was stationed in New York where she met and married Winton Pern Tripp, who was also in the Army. They had two sons, Gary and Tracy.Many of her fondest memories come from living on Yeomalt Point in Bainbridge Island, Wash. She and Winton retired at a very young age and spent the next 25 years traveling the world, finally settling in Sun City.She was kind, gentle and loving to all she met and was much loved by her family and all who knew her.A memorial service was conducted July 9.Donations are suggested to Calvary Community Church, 12612 N.
